1. Introduction

Welcome to Padel Pickle Club ("we", "us", "our"). By accessing or using our website at www.padelpickleclub.com (the "Site"), you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms").

If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use our Site.

These Terms apply to all visitors, users, coaches, club managers, and others who access or use the Service.

2. Definitions

"User": Any individual visiting the website to read news, search for clubs, or find a coach.
"Coach": An individual or entity listing their coaching services on our directory.
"Club": A venue or facility listing their courts and amenities on our directory.
"Listing": The profile, biography, images, and contact details uploaded by a Coach or Club.
"Service": The provision of the website, the directory, and the news content.

3. Use of the Website

3.1 Eligibility: You must be at least 18 years old to register a Coach or Club profile. Users under 18 may browse the site but should do so under the supervision of a parent or guardian.

3.2 Permitted Use: You agree to use the Site only for lawful purposes. You must not use the Site to:

Upload content that is offensive, defamatory, or infringing on intellectual property.
Send unsolicited marketing (spam) to Coaches or Clubs listed on the directory.
Scrape or data-mine our directory for commercial purposes.

4. For Coaches and Clubs (Listing Providers)

If you register an account to list a Padel or Pickleball service, the following specific terms apply:

4.1 Accuracy of Information: You warrant that all information provided in your Listing (including qualifications, pricing, and facility details) is accurate, current, and not misleading.

4.2 Qualifications and Insurance:

Coaches: You represent and warrant that you hold the necessary qualifications, certifications, and valid public liability insurance to teach Padel or Pickleball in the UK.
Clubs: You represent that your venue complies with all UK health and safety regulations.
Verification: We reserve the right, but have no obligation, to verify your credentials. You agree to provide proof of insurance or qualification upon request.

4.3 Relationship: Padel Pickle Club acts solely as a directory and advertising platform. We are not your employer, agent, or partner. You are responsible for your own tax affairs (HMRC) and legal compliance.

5. For Users (Players and Readers)

5.1 No Endorsement: While we aim to list high-quality professionals, Padel Pickle Club does not verify, vet, or endorse every Coach or Club listed on the Site. The inclusion of a Listing does not imply a recommendation.

5.2 Your Responsibility: It is your sole responsibility to:

Verify the credentials and insurance of a Coach before booking a lesson.
Ensure a Club facility is safe and suitable for your needs.
Agree on pricing and cancellation terms directly with the Coach or Club.

5.3 Contracts: Any contract for coaching or court hire is strictly between you (the User) and the Listing Provider (Coach/Club). Padel Pickle Club is not a party to that contract.

6. Intellectual Property

6.1 Our Content: All content created by us (news articles, site design, logos, text) is the property of Padel Pickle Club and is protected by UK copyright laws. You may not reproduce our articles without permission.

6.2 User Content: By uploading a Listing (photos, bios), you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to display, reproduce, and promote that content on our platform and social media channels for the purpose of marketing your services and our Site.

7. Liability and Disclaimers

Please read this section carefully.

7.1 Physical Risk: Padel and Pickleball are physical sports that carry a risk of injury. Padel Pickle Club is not liable for any physical injury, loss, or damage incurred during a session booked through a connection made on this Site.

7.2 Platform Disclaimer: We provide the Site on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee that the Site will be secure or free from bugs or viruses.

7.3 Limitation of Liability: To the fullest extent permitted by law:

We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages (including loss of profit).
Our total liability to you for any claims arising out of the use of the Site shall be limited to the amount you have paid us in the last 12 months (if any), or £100, whichever is greater.

7.4 Exceptions: Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury arising from our own negligence, or for fraud.

8. Indemnification

You (the Coach or Club) agree to indemnify and hold Padel Pickle Club harmless from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including legal fees) arising out of or in any way connected with:

Your access to or use of the Service.
Your violation of these Terms.
Any dispute between you and a User/Student.
Your provision of coaching services or facility management (including injuries to students).

9. Third-Party Links

Our news articles and directory may contain links to third-party websites (e.g., equipment retailers, federation bodies). We have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party sites.

10. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes relating to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. By continuing to access or use our Service after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms.
