Accessibility Statement
This statement was last updated on 23rd November 2025
Our Commitment
Padel Pickle Club is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We operate in accordance with the Equality Act 2010 and are continually improving the user experience for everyone by applying relevant accessibility standards.
We believe that everyone should be able to find a Padel coach, locate a club, or read the latest Pickleball news, regardless of their ability or the technology they use.

Compliance Status

The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 defines requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. It defines three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA.
The Padel Pickle Club website is partially compliant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA.
"Partially compliant" means that while we strive to meet the standard, some parts of the content do not yet fully conform, largely due to the third-party and user-generated nature of our directory listings.
Accessibility Features
We have designed our website so that you should be able to:
-
Zoom in up to 300% without the text spilling off the screen.
-
Navigate most of the website using just a keyboard (including form fields for Coach registration).
-
Navigate the website using speech recognition software.
-
Listen to most of the website using a screen reader (including the most recent versions of JAWS, NVDA and VoiceOver).
-
Access Coach and Club listings clearly on mobile and tablet devices.
Non-Accessible Content
We are aware that some parts of this website are not fully accessible. The content listed below is non-accessible for the following reasons:
1. User-Generated Content
Our platform allows Coaches and Club Managers to upload their own profiles, biographies, and images. Consequently:
-
Some images uploaded by users may lack appropriate "alt text" (alternative text descriptions).
-
Some documents uploaded by clubs (e.g., PDF timetables or price lists) may not be fully accessible to screen reader software.
2. Third-Party Integrations
-
Maps: Our "Club Locator" functionality relies on third-party maps (e.g., Google Maps). These may be difficult to navigate using a screen reader or keyboard alone. We aim to provide text-based addresses alongside all map pins to mitigate this.
-
Video: Embedded news videos from third-party sources (e.g., YouTube) may occasionally lack captions or audio descriptions.
Reporting Accessibility Problems
We are always looking to improve the accessibility of this website. If you find any problems not listed on this page or think we are not meeting accessibility requirements, please contact us:
-
Email: [Insert Support Email]
-
Phone: [Insert Phone Number]
We will consider your request and aim to get back to you within 5 working days.
Reasonable Adjustments
If you have a disability and cannot access specific content or use a feature on our website (for example, if you are a Coach struggling to complete the registration form due to accessibility barriers), please contact us using the details above. We will endeavour to provide the information or service to you in an alternative format (e.g., via telephone or email).
Enforcement Procedure
The Equality and Human Rights Commission (EHRC) is responsible for enforcing the Equality Act 2010.
If you have made a complaint to us regarding discrimination or accessibility and you are not happy with our response, you can contact the Equality Advisory and Support Service (EASS) for advice and support.
